In Between

Summer is officially over and Rowan is headed to Jardin.  Doesn't he look spiffy in his new duds and Angry Bird Back pack?  He didn't pull the "I hate School" stunt before we rushed off for the bus which has got to be a good sign right? 

I believe he enjoyed every minute of his vacation this year.  We certainly are sad to see the long weekends at the cottage coming to an end. For the first time in four years I haven't felt like we were monopolizing this poor boys days with our stuff--instead he got to be a kid, get very very dirty, experience freedom a little and learn new and wonderful things about the world.  Summer has never been so short...but look what excitement he has on his face!  Let's hope it stays this way this year.
