Pumpkiny
Rowan's Aunt Jenn, Stephen and Taryn came to visit us this weekend. It was a dreary and cold and so we didn't get outside as much as we had hoped we would. However, despite the rain, we did take the kids to buy pumpkins. There was a patch that required a hay ride but the hay rides weren't running when we arrived because of the weather. It didn't both Rowan or Taryn much. They seemed to like the hundreds of pumpkins and gourdes anyway.
I liked watching them.
Rowan was covered in mud by the end of it but we did manage to score 2 beautiful pumpkins for carving, a mini pumpkin that Rowan insisted on throwing (because it was a "ball" don't you know) and 2 gourdes that he chose himself. He picked a bumpy pimple-ly thing and then bit the end of another with a long neck which we felt obliged to purchase.
The rain made for perfect picture taking if nothing else.
