Hoover
The only thing my mom wanted to do on this trip was see Hoover Dam and so we headed that way after seeing the big hole. It was just the way I remembered it-- large but unusually quiet for a generating plant. I still wonder what technology is being used to make the plant safe enough for tours. It baffles me. Ha! Baffles-- get it?
