Las Vegas Again

John and I didn't like Vegas when we were here in 2008. It just isn't us. But we thought it would be a good place to stay after visiting Hoover Dam. We found a family resort called Tahiti Village on the internet that looked okay and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Rowan actually jumped up and down with his hand over his mouth when we opened our room door and found not one, but two full condos to be explored. It was over 1500 square feet of space with 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens and after being cooped up in the car for 2 days, it was perfect for the kids. He was in awe and well, so were we. The rate for this place was less than $200 per night and if we ever go back to Vegas, we'll be staying there again. If not for the rooms, then for the beach at the pool that both babies loved. I was a little sad that we only had time to stay one night.
His very first *feel* of beach sand.

Morning that we had to leave.

I love this photo.
