I know you won't believe me when I say this but here goes:
When I pointed at his bus this morning and said "bus". He pointed back and said "bus!".
Then, when he was crawling around his crib I said: "Bronson, let's go down stairs". He turned on a dime, headed for the stairs and said: "Down stairs. Go down stairs".
When I told John what I had heard he thought I was nuts. So, he experimented and guess what happened...Yes, the child said it again and then he proceeded to sing it. Muddled, but sung to something reminiscent of the Bob the Builder theme song.
Which by the way, he sings quite clearly and in tune. I kid you not.
